VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- Argentine Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, 76 was elected the 266th pope and took the name Francis.

During Adoration, a rosary was recited for the intention of the Holy Spirit’s guidance of the College of Cardinals as they prepare to elect the next pope. The parish began this rosary on Feb. 14 and will continue it each day except Sunday until the new pope is elected.
