Father Francisco Luis Gómez Pineda died April 29 in Medellin, Colombia. Fr. Gómez served in the Diocese of Salt Lake City from 1990 to 2002.

SALT LAKE CITY —Para Angélica Rojas, el tiempo libre durante la preparatoria significaba estar involucrada en los clubs que ayudaban a otras personas. Su servicio comunitario le ayudó a ganarse una beca de la Fuerza aérea; ahora ella se encuentra cursando el segundo año de universidad para obtener un título en psicología. Recientemente se casó con un hombre enlistado en la Armada de los Estados Unidos y trabaja para una corte de justicia.
