Refugee Resettlement
All new volunteers are asked to attend the Refugee Resettlement Orientation to learn more about refugees, the process of their journey and the services received through CCS. Opportunities include mentoring a refugee family, teaching English to refugees, and tutoring school-age refugee children.
CCS Northern Utah
At the Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank, help stock shelves, organize and sort food, assist with client intake, volunteer as a driver to take food to the elderly or shut-ins, or pick up food from grocery stores. The Bridging the Gap program’s mobile pantry distributes food to low-income elementary school students. For the St. Martha’s Baby Project, organize the storage room, help deliver the layettes or create blankets.
