SALT LAKE CITY — Virginia Lucy Gillett, 66, died Oct. 29. Gillett was born Dec. 7, 1918, in Beryl, Utah, to Vedo and Mavel Kelly Del Vecchio. She married Lewis Gillett Oct. 25, 1940. He died Jan. 8, 1990. She was very devoted to her family. Gillett was selected as the St. Ann Parish Woman of the Year, was a volunteer for the Red Cross, and an election judge. She is survived by her six children, Charleen Pruitt, Larry (Toni) Gillett, Leslie (Cappy) Campasano, Dell (Jimetta) Gillett, Jim (Colleen) Gillett, and Bob (Kelly) Gillett; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Phyllis Wood. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Ann Catholic Church. Committal was in Mountainview Memorial Estates.
