SALT LAKE CITY — Mary Kosovich Magers, 99, passed away Jan. 19, 2014. Magers was born Feb. 27, 1914 in Trinidad, Colo., to George and Manda Saban Kosovich. She married Robert LeRoy Magers in Virginia City, Nev. She worked at Dorthea’s Floral in Midvale. Magers was a devout Catholic and was active in her parish at Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, where she served in many capacities, including the Altar Society and SWORDs group. She also served as PTA president at South Jordan Elementary School. Magers is survived by son-in-law R. Cleve Jenkins; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Magers was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; and daughters June and Patricia. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church.
