SALT LAKE CITY — Mary Elizabeth Derbidge Davies, 69, passed away on Jan. 20, 2012, from causes related to cancer.

Davies was born on Oct. 6, 1942, to Joseph L. and Leona Bruning Derbidge. She graduated from Judge Memorial Catholic High School and the University of Utah. She married Stephen Laine Davies Sept. 1, 1964.

Davies is survived by brothers Joseph and Michael Derbidge; sister Starr Birdsall; brother-in-law Michael Davies; five nieces; one nephew; and grand-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Saint Ann Catholic Church.
