SALT LAKE CITY — Madeline Dennie Miller, 64, died Oct. 9, after a courageous struggle with breast cancer.

Miller was born June 8, 1944, to Joseph and Ruth Forster and raised in Tujunga, Calif. She received her Masters of Fine Arts in Theater Design from the California State University of Northridge; where she was also a part-time professor. Upon her retirement, she moved to Santa Fe, N.M., where she became a master gardener. She enjoyed volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, and was involved with the design and painting of numerous sets for Theater Works.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Michael; three children, Erin (Tom) Bonk; Daniel (Richelle), Tempe, Ariz.; and Ryan of Alexandria, Va.; two grandchildren, Colin and Nora Bonk; and four brothers, Michael, Patrick, Daniel, and Peter Forster.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church. Inurnment was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
