SOUTH JORDAN — Lydia James, 98, passed away Feb. 15, 2014 at Legacy House.
James was born to Guiseppe and Maria Bruno, immigrants from Domanico, Italy, on March 3, 1915 in Helper. She married Eugene Gibson. She worked in a pharmacy in Helper and then at a jewelry store. After the death of her first husband, she married Dan James.
James is survived by niece Marie Bruno Nelson, two nephews and several great great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Guyatano (Guy), Giovanni (John), and Orlando (Landi); and husbands Gene Gibson and Dan James.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church.
