Louise Ann Crangle

SALT LAKE CITY — Louise Ann Crangle, 93, died at her home Aug. 23, of age related causes. She was a member of Saint Vincent de Paul Parish.

Crangle was born Dec. 1, 1914, in Kranzburg, S.D., to Nicholas Haan and Ann Linder. She married Vernon Crangle in Watertown, S.D., in 1939. She spent most of her life in Sioux Falls, S.D., before moving to Salt Lake City at age 87. She attended events regularly at Mount Olympus Senior Center where she was the oldest member of the Songbirds.

She is survived by her husband, Vernon P. Crangle; sons, Richard (Beverly), John, Kent, and Patrick Crangle; daughter, Colleen Williams; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Paschal, Bernice Goldburg; and brother, Robert Haan.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial was in Sioux Falls, S.D.
