SAN ANDRES — John Rebol, 83, passed away March 29, 2013. Rebol was born May 7, 1929 in Helper, to John and Katerina Rebol. He served as a sergeant in the Korean War before graduating from Carbon College in 1956. He married Josephine Perez on Oct. 5, 1963. He worked with the Utah Railway as an engineer for over 20 years. Rebol is survived by wife Josie Rebol; four children: John (Shasta), Judy (Clark) Prothero, Robert (Shelly), and David (Nicole); sister Katie Saccomanno; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Rebol was preceded in death by his mother Katerina and sisters Elsie (Bonino) and Pauline (Faylor). A memorial was celebrated at San Andreas Catholic Church.
