SALT LAKE CITY — Joanne Bea Mooney, 56, passed away March 6, 2014 as a result of a stroke and brain hemorrhage. Mooney was born in Salt Lake City Oct. 8, 1957 to John and Betty Mooney. She attended St. Ann School, Judge Memorial Catholic High School and Westminster College. She was a member of the Hibernian Society of Utah. She worked at the Newspaper Agency Corporation, Media One, and The Children’s Center. She married Norm Allred April 28, 1989. Mooney is survived by husband Norm; aunt Mary Kay (Bill) Hansen; sister Sharon; children Jeanette, Robert, Cheryllyn and Warren; 14 grandnieces and nephews; and seven great-grandnieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brother-in-law Robert Tilley and her parents. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Joseph the Worker Parish.
