SALT LAKE CITY — Jesus Maymi, 85, passed away Sept. 12, 2013. Maymi was born Jan. 16, 1926 in Puerto Rico. He married Digna Dieppa in 1950. He worked in Bingham Canyon at the Kennecott Copper Mine for 38 years. Maymi is survived by wife Digna Dieppa; three daughters, Digna Loy, Violeta, Iliana; seven grandchildren and many family members in Puerto Rico. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church.
