SALT LAKE CITY — Jesse James Montoya, 31, died Dec. 13. Montoya was born May 18, 1976, to Martha and Alfred "Chiefy" Montoya. He was an avid body builder and a personal trainer. He had a short life and did not have time to broaden his talents and dreams to reality. He is survived by his son, Jesse, Jr; father and stepmother, Alfred and Leona Montoya; mother, Martha Montoya; brothers, Daniel "Choch" and Robert "Turtle;" uncles and aunts, Tony "Nacho" (Louise), Dennis (Natalie), Gene, Sandra, Rose (Bob) Curry, Cindy (Barney) Martinez, and Alice Montoya; two special aunts, Carol Montoya and Isabel Sanchez; numerous cousins; and great aunts and uncles of the Garcia family. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Committal was in Lake Hills Cemetery.
