SALT LAKE CITY — Florence Barber Oliver, 94, passed away June 6, 2013, after battling dementia. Oliver was born on July 12, 1918 in Salt Lake City to Dominic and Jenny Barber. She married Frank Oliver July 17, 1948. Oliver is survived by daughters Shirley (Larry) Ruffner and Susie (Rich) Lowe; son Ron (Vanessa) Oliver; eight grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; brother William Barber and sister Elaine Kitterer. Oliver was preceded in death by a son, Frank Joseph; her parents; six sisters; five brothers and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
