SALT LAKE CITY — Edna Marie Gerard, 87, passed away Jan. 21, 2014. Gerard was born to Robert and Edna L. Clarkson in Refugio, Texas on Aug. 21, 1927. She married Raymond L. Gerard on Feb. 13, 1946. She was a devout Catholic and her faith carried her through the loss of her husband and her health issues. Gerard was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Gerard; her parents and siblings. Gerard is survived by daughters Rena (Anthony) Moerman and Martha (David Malm) Gerard; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a niece and a nephew. A funeral Mass was celebrated at the Cathedral of the Madeleine.
