Donna Louise Anderson

POTLATCH, Idaho — Donna Louise "Nana" Anderson, 78, died March 3. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish.

Anderson was born in 1930, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Carl and Elizabeth "Ruby" Andres. The family moved to Potlatch, Idaho, where she attended school and graduated in 1948. Anderson worked in the Office of the Potlatch Mercantile following high school. She married Hans A. Beplate, Jr., in 1952. He died in 1958, from injuries sustained in a logging accident. She was employed for more than 20 years with Idaho First National Bank in Potlatch. In 1971, she married Harold Anderson. She then became the city clerk of Potlatch for a number of years, worked in the Potlatch Credit Union, Highway District and Cemetery Districts. She was a member of the Catholic Women’s Altar Society, an avid sports fan, and a Judge Memorial Catholic High School patron.

She is survived by her husband, Harold; son Douglas (Wendy) Beplate, of Salt Lake City; four grandchildren, Sean, Addie, Riley, and Carlie.

A Celebration of Life Mass was celebrated at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Potlatch.
