Brendan James

OGDEN — Henry Brendan James, 89, passed away April 18, 2015. 
James was born Feb. 10, 1926 in Ogden to Genevieve R. Kelly and Henry Harrison James. He graduated from Weber College and then received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. He served in the Navy during WWII in the South Pacific. He married Marjorie Salmon on Sept. 7, 1950 at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He was a charter member of Saint James the Just Catholic Church, where he was a Scout Master and also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
James is survived by wife Marjorie; children Robert (Terry), Michael (Natalie) and Karen (John) Leonardi; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; seven sisters: Margaret, Mary, Roberta, Patricia, Claire, Esther and Betty; sons John Paul and David; and grandchildren Lillian Rose James and Jonathan Leonardi.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. James the Just Catholic Church.
