Matt Pack, a sixth-grade teacher at Saint Olaf Catholic School, presented a unique way for his students to do their latest book report. Instead of writing the usual basic paper, they were to make a cereal box using information from the book. All the students read the same book, "Skulduggery Pleasant" by Irish playwright Derek Landy. Then each student designed and constructed their version of a cereal box report. The front of the box was an illustration about the title, the back was a word puzzle that related to the book. The ingredients were the cast of characters and the nutritional facts were the summary of the book. The students agreed this was an unusual and fun way to do a book report and the assignment made reading the book more interesting and exciting.
