SALT LAKE CITY — Aurora Avila-Vigil, 92, died Nov. 13. Avila-Vigil was born March 28, 1916, in El Rito, N.M., to Conaciano and Eufelia Chacon Vigil. She was a caring soul who enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Before her illness, she enjoyed morning walks and spent most of her time caring for others. She loved to dance and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She is survived by her children, Johnny (Dixie) Vigil, Gus (Erlinda) Vigil, Lillie (Tony) Vigil of El Rito, N.M., Sarah (Arnold) Gonzales, Dulcie (Jesse) Valles, Jerry Vigil, and Cindy Vigil; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
