St. Lawrence Open House — Saturday, June 13, noon-3 p.m. at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church, 100 W. Center St., Heber. Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Heber’s historical landmark. Originally Heber’s Second Ward, the building is currently home to Saint Lawrence Catholic Church.
 
Memorial Day Mass — Monday, May 25, 9 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 275 U St., SLC. Celebrated by Archbishop John C. Wester. Grave decorations may be placed May 22 and remain through May 31.

St. Mary Stampede Rodeo/Carnival — Thursday, May 28, 4 p.m. at Hooper Park, 5600 South 6300 West, Hooper. Ben German, Broken Heart Rodeo Co., will provide his championship stock. Carnival, food, music and vendors will be present May 28-30. 

Celebration for Mark Longe — honoring his promotion to Superintendent of Utah Catholic Schools.   Friday, May 29, 7 - 10 p.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Parish’s Holy Family Hall. OLOL Game Night — Saturday, June 6, 7 p.m. in  Our Lady of Lourdes Parish’s social hall, 670 South 1100 East, SLC. Cost is $15 for bingo games and lasagna dinner $5.

St. Mary Women’s Retreat — June 12-14 at Saint Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven. Engage in a weekend filled with spiritual healing and growth, fulfilling moments, thought-provoking discussions, prayer, and laughter. Cost is $50, includes reading material. Ladies of Charity Summer BBQ — Sunday, June 14, 12:30-2:30 p.m. at St. Olaf Parish’s McNamara Center, 1800 S. Orchard Drive, Bountiful. Food, silent auction and a “meat lovers” raffle. Prayer for Vocations — A special period of prayer made before the Blessed Sacrament in solemn exposition with a special emphasis for vocations is underway in the diocese of Salt Lake City. Saint Rose of Lima Parish, 210 S. Chapel St. in Layton, will host the devotion May 18 -21, beginning each day with a 9 a.m. Mass to pray for vocations, followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet. The chaplet  will be prayed in Spanish in the evenings; call the parish for information. Benediction will be Thursday, May 21, at 7:30 p.m. 

Judge Memorial Summer Camps — Judge Memorial Catholic High School offers a variety of athletic camps and programs designed for all grades and interests beginning June 8 and running throughout the summer. Masses and Receptions — Mass at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple in Salt Lake City, on Sunday, May 24 at 3 p.m. in Spanish and on Sunday, May 31 at 11 a.m. in English. Receptions will follow both Masses. Also, on Sunday, May 31, a public reception will be held at the Little America Hotel, 500 S. Main St. in Salt Lake City, from 5 to 8 p.m.
