SALT LAKE CITY — Angelica "Lica" Mary Velasquez, 71, died Oct. 1. Velasquez was born March 6, 1937, to Antonio and Stella Trujillo. Everyone who met and knew her always felt welcomed and loved by her. She lived life to the fullest and cherished every moment spent with the ones she loved. She was the heart of her family and was always there to keep us in line. She is survived by her children, Tony (Loretta), Stella (Larry), Tammy (Jose), Mark (Gina), Paul (Lori), and Angelina; brother, Filbert (Vera); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many friends. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Patrick Catholic Church. Committal was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
