Forced to Flee — Thursday, Sept. 27, 5-7:30 p.m. at the Gallivan Center, 239 Main St., SLC. Experience the journey of becoming a refugee, guided by former refugees who have first-hand experience. Sponsored by Catholic Community Services of Utah. Free and open to the public.

Reservation Deadline — is Sept. 28 for the Catholic Woman’s League Fall Benefit Luncheon. Tickets: $38; mail reservations with payment to Jenny Maffuccio, 13297 N. Oktoberfest — Sept. 28-29 at Notre Dame de Lourdes Parish, 185 N. Carbon Ave., Price. Hours are Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday an enchilada dinner will be served from 4 to 8 p.m.; Saturday will be a lasagna dinner.
