“Being With” volunteer training — April 29, 7-8:30 p.m. Gain the confidence to journey with those who are suffering social isolation, sick or dying, to renew their hope and purpose in life. Free virtual Zoom training hosted by the Diocese of Salt Lake City Family Life Office & Respect Life Commission. With speakers Genevieve Schadenberg, director of Compassionate Community Care; and Alex Schadenberg, executive director of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition. Summer Faith Opportunity — FOCUS Summer Projects, a 10-week program for college students, offers a paid summer job and faith formation from FOCUS. The program is expanding beyond its two Colorado locations to California, Maine, Michigan and New York. Most programs will run May 24-Aug. 10.
