Year of Mercy Reflection

Friday, Apr. 29, 2016

Jesus told to His disciples, “Peace be with you.”
This greeting means “God be with you.” We can find peace only in God, because God is peace. The mercy of love is peace, the peace located in our souls, which belong to the creator. The Father sent His son to us, to invite everybody to eternal happiness in His perfect wholeness.
The white dove is the symbol of the Holy Spirit. The white flame is the endless condition of the soul. The Holy Spirit burns in our souls and gives light and power to daily life.
The soul needs the mercy of God always, to be pure and clean again. Our souls are like hidden stones in us that need transformation to shine, like a crystal. The body is the visible temple of God.
The body gets temptations, and if we choose sin, we break our relationship with God. Confession makes us whole again. Our souls need to feel the harmony and security of the presence of God.
We all are soul-persons. We do not need to make sacrifices, because Jesus did it for our salvation. To avoid sin, we need to let the Spirit of God guide us.
We can build up God’s heavenly kingdom in our life here and now on Earth, because the kingdom of God is at hand – in our hands and in our souls, in our community.
The mercy of God started with Jesus, the son of God. God is everlasting. We need the mercy of God every day in our lives by the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
The Year of Mercy is special, full of many graces. It gives us more opportunities to take care of our souls in these difficult times, to practice forgiveness toward others, to glorify God by our lives, in the likeness of Jesus and Mary.
