 The Militia Immaculata National Council held its in-person meeting at the National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe in Libertyville, Ill.  on Aug. 9-11. From left are Julie Elkinton, a council member; Michael Wick, MI National Council vice president; Ronald Rodrigues, the MI National Council president; Donna Masek, a parishioner of Holy Family Parish in Ogden who is the MI National Council secretary; Geoffrey Butz, a council member; and Father Thomas Czeck, OFM, Conv., the MI national spiritual assistant. The MI was formed by St. Maximilian in the early 20th century; its aim is “to win the whole world for Christ through the Immaculata, Mother of God and of the Church,” according to https://militiaoftheimmaculata.com/.
