Judith Anne Hecht

September 27, 1946 ~ November 3, 2018

Judy was born to Eugene and Ines Bocco Hecht on September 27, 1946 in Salt Lake City. She died November 3, 2018 from complications of interstitial lung disease.

She graduated from Saint Mary’s/Judge Memorial Catholic High School and Utah Technical College with an associate’s degree in fine art. She was an accomplished artist. Judy worked as a commercial artist in the advertising and printing business for many years. She retired from Smith’s Marketplace where she met many friends. She loved animals, taking in many strays.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and brother-in-law. She is survived by her sister, Gerri Gomez; brother, Larry Hecht (Ashlee Temple), and longtime friend, Craig Bennett.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 8 at St. Ann Catholic Church following a recitation of the holy rosary. Interment was at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
