Bruce White

1929 ~ June 5, 2018

Bruce White, 88, peacefully passed on June 5, 2018. He was a resident at the William E. Christoffersen Veterans home.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Doris White, and his son Mark White. He is survived by his grandson, Steven White.

He gave many years of service to his community: as a Marine in the Korean War, an  officer with the Salt Lake City Police Department, and an usher at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. He was passionate about animals and children, and often made charitable donations to those causes. He was loved and cherished by many; including his family, neighbors, congregation, and staff at the William E. Christoffersen Veterans Home. Bruce’s family would like to thank the staff specifically – their exceptional care and commitment made all the difference.

A funeral Mass was celebrated June 11, 2018 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Committal was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
