The 2018 Autumn Harvest Benefit for Holy Cross Ministries drew 150 people to The High West Distillery on Sept. 22. Serving the many people in Summit County who are at risk and underserved is challenging, “and I think that’s why we all came together this evening,” said Lynn Ware-Peek, a Park City City Council member, who was the master of ceremonies for the event. “That’s why the mission of Holy Cross Ministries is so vital in our community.” In Summit County, HCM offers a programs in child education, health care and legal immigration. This was the fifth annual Harvest Benefit, and attendance has grown each year. Proceeds from the benefit go to the underserved in Summit County. Shown is Emmie Gardner, HCM CEO, and Ware-Peek. Gardner acknowledged the HCM board members and community partners, and said, “We would be nowhere without our donors. Without your generous support we cannot do the work that we do.”
