Parish Dinner and Games — Friday Aug. 5. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., dinner is at 5:30 p.m. and games start at 6:30 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns. Dinner is $20 and includes 18 games.

 

Orientation for new RCIA Coordinators/Team Members — Saturday, Aug. 6, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Diocese of Salt Lake City Chancery Building, 303 E. South Temple, SLC. The orientation is designed for those individuals who are new to RCIA or have had three years or less of experience as a minister. $15 fee includes lunch. Restorative Justice Ministry — The Diocese of Salt Lake City Restorative Justice Ministry will hold an inquiry session for those interested in volunteering at the Utah State Prison. Sunday, Aug. 7, 6-7 p.m. at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, 300 East 11800 South, Draper. RCIA Study Days — Friday-Saturday, Aug. 19-20. The Zoom session for directors/coordinators is scheduled for 6:30-8 p.m. on Friday. The in-person general session for all RCIA team members is Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Pastoral Center, 27 C St., SLC. $15 fee for the Saturday workshop includes lunch. Judge Memorial Centennial Celebration — Saturday, Aug. 27, 5-9 p.m. throughout the Judge Memorial Catholic High School campus, 650 South 1100 East, SLC. A centennial Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. by Bishop Oscar A. Solis in the Wiegand Auditorium. Celebration including appetizers, dinner, school tours and live music.
