Advent Retreat in St. George

St. George parishioners joined with Parochial Vicar Father Sebastien Sasa and Pastor Father Martin Picos in an Advent retreat on Nov. 30. The theme of the retreat was “The family of St. George: home and school of communion.” The three-part retreat included evening prayer, meditation and Eucharistic adoration. During the meditation, Fr. Picos invited all the faithful of the community to imitate the effective communion of the mystery of the Trinity. In the Eucharistic adoration, Fr. Sasa immersed participants in a personal encounter with Jesus to adore Him and proclaim Him the King of the Kings. The retreat ended with a Eucharistic blessing.
